Renovation of existing 1950’s retail strip center into an activated community hub that includes an urban green serving the retail tenants as well as the neighborhood community. The renovation includes returning the overall image to be more in keeping with the original design and creates a retail friendly streetscape and improved pedestrian and bike access to the center.  Historical references are integrated throughout the project and a series of linear water features provide a cooling effect while referencing the significance of the irrigation canal systems that were so critical to the development of this North Central neighborhood.
