The “new” College Avenue has transformed this district of ASU’s campus into a vital gateway to downtown Tempe, the Stadium District and the COT Transit Center, creating a people focused space that will serve generations to come. Project reorients the emphasis on vehicular uses and provides for pedestrian only access during special events, creating a dynamic and much needed nexus for large scale gatherings and which successfully energizes the indoor/outdoor spaces adjoining the Avenue on all sides.
