This highly technical condominium community utilized more than 500,000 SF of green roofs to create a truly immersive indoor/outdoor living experience.  The project was the first of its kind to utilize a shallow green roof system in a desert environment, which presented a range of viability, maintenance and aesthetic challenges.  To mitigate these concerns, Floor Associates designed a series of elevated test beds to gauge the viability of various plant, soil and irrigation types.  The knowledge gained was applied to create this truly beautiful and highly sustainable residential development in the heart of downtown Scottsdale.
