Bachmann Springs

download case study

Located approximately 12 miles outside of Tombstone in Cochise County, Arizona, Bachmann Springs redefines the concept of the destination golf and resort community. Approximately 1,700 acres in total size, initial development includes a truly spectacular Tom Fazio-designed golf course, hospitality amenities and the initial development of 120 custom estate lots. The golf course is currently under construction and will be ready for play in the Fall of 2006.

The Phase 1 Hospitality Core landscape is designed to provide a dramatic oasis in stark contrast to the surrounding higher desert environment, while the golf course landscape includes the introduction of large specimen trees and a transitional landscape palette. Other landscape amenities include the integration of wine vineyards, fruit orchards and olive groves used to invoke the rural landscape character of Andalucia in southern Spain.
